In early 2013 Temujin Gill proposed to set up a formal adult performance group to which a number of students from his regular Lindy Hop class at Greenwich Dance responded positively resulting in the establishment of Lindy Kicks, and their debut performance in Ramsgate, July 2013 for the Thanet at War festival.

Lindy Kicks are a performance group of Lindy Hop enthusiasts who met at Greenwich Dance's increasingly popular adult lindy hop course run by Temujin Gill. All the members have been coming to the class for different amounts of time but all are committed and passionate about the dance form, the performance and having fun! The group was set up in response to the obvious appetite participants in the class had for performing with Temujin, from Meltdown Lindy Hop at the Royal Festival hall curated by Ray Davies to the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony.
This is just the beginning of a very special journey and Temujin, with the support of Sarah Hitch as company manager, looks forward to taking the group from strength to strength and many more exciting places and performance opportunities. Access to the group currently comes via the Lindy Hop course at Greenwich Dance who's continued support has made this venture possible.
